"Divorce doesn't stop once the papers are signed."
Divorce is one of life’s most difficult experiences. It is a fluid process that can adopt a life of its own, and for most people it doesn't end the day the legal process is complete. It can evolve (and devolve) as time goes on, kids get older, and circumstances change. Managing divorce can be an ongoing struggle which creates stress, overwhelm, frustration, and anger. This negative cycle hurts you, your loved ones, and your communities.
This unique program addresses the overwhelming challenges that divorce presents. You will find comfort in knowing you are not alone during this isolating process, and gain knowledge to help you integrate your divorce into your life.
Groups are kept small to allow individuals to feel safe and heard. Sessions are conducted in an interactive and conversational “book club” style that incorporates both practical lessons and open discussions. While holding space to share, sessions are goal-oriented and focus on bringing awareness to concepts and skills to help you move through your divorce and thrive in your next chapter.
Your Facilitators
Ann and Caroline are not only academic students of the emotional and physical impact of divorce, but they have also lived through it. Feeling that there was a gap in support during their own divorces, they developed this program to address a missing component: education in an empathetic and small group setting.
Their goal is to shed light on negative patterns that can occur around divorce while walking alongside you on your journey. They believe that being part of an objective and supportive group is an integral component in divorce recovery and personal growth. In sharing stories and acting as sounding boards we help others while helping ourselves
